A fun and festive evening of philanthropy!
FLoatarama held its inaugural Check Awards event at Hunters Night Club in Wilton Manors FL on 22nd September 2023.
Grants from the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund totaled $50,000 between four local agencies aligned with FLoatarama’s mission to support LGBTQ+ Youth.
Grant Recipients
Grant awards were made to:
1. SunServe ($15,000 funding health & wellbeing services for LGBTQ+ youth).
2. Pridelines ($15,000 fully funding the CampOUT initiative).
3. South Florida Pride Youth Band ($10,000 funding youth band and soloist scholarship).
4. YES Institute ($10,000 funding prevention of suicide, violence and discrimination).
