3rd Annual Check Awards Party

FLoatarama's fundraising support projects serving LGBTQ Youth in South Florida, and have granted out over $252,134 to date.
This year’s grants from the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund totaled $110,000, disbursed among eight South Florida agencies aligned with FLoatarama’s mission to support LGBTQ+ Youth.
Hosted by Jacob Jennings, with DJ Ronnie Minutella, the evening was fun and festive with over 200 in attendance celebrating philanthropy and the LGBTQ+ community. The presentation filled the audience with inspiration and a message of philanthropy and inclusion.
In addition to the grant awards, participants generously donated an additional $2,280 to the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund.

Grant Recipients
Grant awards were made to:
1. Essential Haus ($10,000 funding LGBTQIA+ Violence Healing program)
2. Out My Closet ($10,000 funding the Changing Room project)
3. PRISM ($10,000 funding Content Creation Task Force)
4. The McKenzie Project ($10,000 funding Clean Start program)
5. Jewish Community Services of South Florida ($15,000 funding LGBTQIA+ Youth program)
6. South Florida Pride Youth Band ($15,000 funding youth band and soloist scholarship)
7. Sunshine Pride House ($20,000 funding a safe haven for homeless LGBTQ+ Youth)
8. SunServe ($20,000 funding health & wellbeing services for LGBTQ+ youth).
