FLoatarama-2022 raised $50,000 for the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund, benefiting LGBTQ+ youth.

Four grant recipients were announced at the Check Awards Event

on Thursday 22nd September 2022 at Hunters Wilton Manors:

The 4 grant recipients are:

1. SunServe ($15,000)

2. Pridelines ($15,000)

3. YES Institute ($10,000)

4. South Florida Pride Youth Band ($10,000)

The signature Flotilla of 26 private boats, all fabulously decorated for Pride,
with two large Water Taxi vessels leading the fleet.

We're honored to welcome NBC6 Meteorologist Steve MacLaughlin to serve as our Grand Marshal, leading the Flotilla aboard the 65-foot double-decker Water Taxi.

San Francisco DJ Matt Consola returned for the waterfront Sailor's Dance & Pool Party after the Flotilla at the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal

The signature Flotilla of 34 private boats, all fabulously decorated for Pride,
with the 65-foot double-decker Water Taxi leading the fleet.

We were honored to welcome Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis serving as our Grand Marshal, leading the Flotilla aboard the 65-foot "Island Discovery".

And San Francisco DJ Matt Consola rocked the Sailor's T-Dance the next day at Sanctuary Church.

In the depths of the COVID pandemic lock-down, when Pride was cancelled and bars & restaurants were closed, we came together for a socially-distanced Pride parade of 25+ boats - and the rest is history!
